El Rancho de las Golondrinas

Located 20 miles south of Santa Fe. This 200 acre living history museum was opened in 1972. The buildings have been restored and authentic structures were brought in from other sites and erected on old foundations.

Georgia O'Keeffe Museum

This museum, founded in 1997 and the only one in the country devoted entirely to the work of a female artist, includes more than 100 pieces by the world renowned artist, including paintings, drawings and sculptures.

Museum of Fine Arts

Built in 1917, this is the oldest art museum in New Mexico. The permanent collection here has 8,000 works of art that represent the Taos school of artists as well as other American artists.

Museum of Indian Arts and Culture

The Museum of Indian Arts and Culture, founded in 1987, is home to the well-known "Here, Now and Always" exhibit which features some 1300 pieces of American Indian arts, culture and history, as well as multimedia presentations. The museum is known for its collection of pottery, basketry, weaving and jewelry.

This famous museum has four wings exhibiting some 125,000 objects from over 100 countries, making it larger than any other museum in the world.

Palace of the Governors

Built by Governor Pedro de Peralta in 1619, the Palace of the Governors is the oldest continuously used public building in the United States.

San Miguel Mission

The oldest church in Santa Fe, was built in 1626 for the servants brought to Santa Fe by the Spanish (rebuilt in 1710).

St. Francis Cathedral

Built in 1869 with stone collected from local quarries, it is home to La Conquistadore, a sacred statue of the Virgin Mary that commemorates the Spanish victory over New Mexico.

Interstate 25 serves Santa Fe from Albuquerque and Denver. Take Exit 282 onto St. Francis Drive and follow St. Francis for 3.2 miles to Paseo de Peralta. Turn right onto Paseo de Peralta and drive across Guadalupe Street. The double-archway entrance to Hotel Santa Fe is easily visible on the left, at the corner of Cerrillos Road.
