The images on this page were scanned from a book of watercolors that my maternal grandmother created. They tell a story in pictures (Bildergeschichte) of a young womans romantic experiences. The book was created when Omama (German for "grandmother") was still a young woman in her early 20's. Note that the first and last images are the actual hand stitched front and back covers. (The actual scanned images are far better in quality and aspect ratio than what appears here, but I am not publishing those on the www.)
